Trends come and go, but a wedding that reflects your story will never go out of style. Texas natives Christi and Colton’s stylish wedding is a perfect example. Held at the George W. Bush Presidential Library, their modern-rustic reception mixed elegant decor with a decidedly western aesthetic. During the planning process, Christi and Colton stopped by our Perch showroom to craft their dream reception.

The Moment: Turning Pinterest dreams into a wedding reality better than you even imagined is not just our job – it’s our joy! Each piece of Christi and Colton’s reception was curated with attention to detail. Everything is bigger in Texas, so an ample amount of seating was a necessity. This included the creation of multiple dining vignettes and a variety of lounge areas placed throughout the venue. Our Gold and Mirrored Communal Table was paired with Ghost Barstools for a clean, sleek aesthetic. Our Wooden Bistro Table and Lane Banquette comprised another elegant combination.
Lounges were positioned in key areas to ensure guests had plenty of opportunities to rest their feet and mingle. The first grouping consisted of our Lauren Banquette, Hammered Brass Coffee Table, and a selection of Pillows. Our Georgia Sofa, Cassidy Chair, Pillows, Carson Coffee Table, and Faux Fur Side Bench made for another chic conversation zone.
Just off the dance floor, an additional lounge area consisting of our Miller Sofa, Maybelle Chair, Carson Coffee Table, Brown Tufted Stool, Beige Sisal Rug, Brown Cowhide Rug, and Pearl Lamp created a true focal point at the center of the reception.
Accentuated with a floral arrangement and candles, our Tuscany Console Table was the perfect spot for Christi and Colton to display their guest book and portraits.
Our Acrylic Display Table was the perfect choice for Christi and Colton’s modern floral cake, which doubled as a work of art.
And we can’t forget about that bar! Filled with candles and cowboy boots, the combination of our Boxwood Walls and Gold Shelves created a photo-ready backdrop for the Manhattan Bar Facade.
To mirror the design of the bar, we brought in our Manhattan Stage Facade with Columns for a tasteful and refined dance floor design. The stage blended seamlessly with the venue and the rest of the decor, creating a stunning backdrop for Christi and Colton’s first dance.
There’s no better feeling than collaborating to make dreams come true. Christi and Colton’s wedding was a beautiful reflection of who they are as a couple – and a perfect representation of their Texas roots! It was an honor to have a hand in bringing this couple’s vision for a modern and rustic reception to fruition.
