As a luxury event rental company specializing in residential-inspired furniture, we firmly believe that trends should never dictate design; your wedding should undeniably feel like you, because no two weddings should ever look alike. However, after furnishing hundreds of events across Dallas-Fort Worth and beyond, we've certainly noticed some recurring themes that we anticipate will be prominent in our 2026 wedding trend predictions. While we offer inspiration, not rules, one thing we're already seeing take the lead is a confident approach to color, moving beyond mere accents to a true commitment to saturated palettes, including the increasingly popular "color drenching" technique, alongside a focus on unique guest experiences and personalized decor.

Color with Confidence

In 2026, we expect color to take the lead. Not just “accent colors,” but true commitment to saturated palettes. Color drenching included!

Color drenching (where a single color is repeated across materials, decor, and furnishings) has already taken over the interior design world, and weddings are following suit. It’s bold, cohesive, and ultra editorial when done well.

Featuring multiple items from our inventory that told the same color story, this event felt intentional—not repetitive—and  allowed the floral design to really shine. From cocktail hour to reception, here’s what our couple selected:

A Continued Movement Toward Elevated Residential-Inspired Design

Biased? Admittedly. But the move toward residential-inspired weddings didn’t start with us, and it’s not slowing down in 2026. Couples want weddings that feel less like venues and more like living spaces: elevated, comfortable, chic, and attuned to their personal style. Especially throughout luxury weddings in Dallas, where style and hospitality go hand in hand.

Let guests dine in comfort with cozy and chic banquettes. Curate a beautiful lounge area that shapes the flow of your event. Solidify your theme with a matching bar facade and stage facade. Accessorize to the max with rugs, lamps, and pillows. The opportunities are truly endless!

Mixed Materials for Depth and Texture Mixed materials for depth and texture will be a huge hit, and our 2026 wedding trend predictions suggest this will be especially true for centerpieces. Mixed materials for depth and texture will be a huge hit, and our 2026 wedding trends predictions suggest this will be especially true for centerpieces.

While perfectly cohesive weddings still have a place in our hearts, we’ve started to see more maximalist themes where materials, patterns, and colors are mixed. When done intentionally and with an air of luxury, this vibe results in an artful event that’s overflowing with character. Maximalism doesn’t mean “more stuff.” It means more depth. More texture. More story.

Outdoor + Tented Weddings (Still Going Strong)

This trend isn’t new (especially in Texas) but it’s not going anywhere in 2026. Outdoor weddings offer something traditional venues often can’t: a blank canvas. It’s amazing what you can accomplish with the right tent, lighting, rentals, and vendor team. Just take a look at this Enchanted Garden Wedding under a clear top tent and this Garden Party Glam Wedding in Kansas City, Missouri for proof!

Sustainable & Reusable Design

Sustainability is no longer a “trend,” but the way it shows up in weddings is evolving. In 2026, we expect to see more couples investing in elements that live beyond the wedding day. This may look like custom signage repurposed as home decor, pillows with custom patterns that end up on a couple’s sofa, heirloom pieces used as decor, and more. Event furniture rentals naturally support sustainability: no storage, no waste, no throwaway decor. What’s not to love?
