The historic Arlington Hall has hosted countless events for over eight decades since its opening in 1939. Today, the venue provides an elegant and welcoming space for everything from birthday parties to conferences to weddings. We recently had the pleasure of teaming up with a variety of florists and event designers to transform multiple spaces within the venue for the annual Arlington Hall Open House! Each florist in attendance had the opportunity to showcase their take on the event’s theme, “Wild.” Here’s a look at some of our favorite vignettes from the evening!
Bringing the Destination to Dallas
Our friends at Garden Gate created an elaborate tropical set-up in the ballroom. Deep jungle greens were complemented by vibrant pink and orange flowers, and paired perfectly with our jewel-toned Oxford Sofa and Stella Stool. A variety of gold accent pillows and our Henry Arm Chair completed the chic lounge area. Our Hamilton Bar was a beautiful addition, too—it meshed beautifully with the theme while allowing Garden Gate’s vibrant florals to remain the focus.
Romance with a Pop of Color
We teamed up with Something Pretty Floral to create a lovely outdoor set-up with romantic floral arrangements. To highlight the florals, we brought in furnishings in soft pastel tones along with some of our favorite neutral seating options. We love the combination of our powder blue Jackson Bar with a leafy Boxwood Wall—especially when topped by a cascading floral arrangement. For the dining vignette, our classic William Dining Chairs were the perfect complement to the pale pink and lavender table linens. Our sage green Lizzy tete-a-tete provided additional seating and was made extra inviting with the addition of pink pillows. The overall look was whimsical and feminine—ideal for a garden party!
Nature’s Beautiful Basics
Branching Out Floral’s take on the “Wild” theme was natural, clean, and elegant. Our Miller Lounge Collection and a smattering of green pillows in various hues were the perfect complement to the white blooms and rich greenery that comprised Branching Out’s organic floral design. With wooden frames and crisp white cushions, each piece in the Miller collection exudes simplicity and sophistication. The natural, interior-inspired look was further enhanced by our Tuscany Console Table, which provided the perfect spot to showcase lush groupings of floral arrangements and candles.
